Manufacturing products based on timber and gypsum for a vast range of applications presents some unique challenges in planning with an ERP system.​ As a senior external advisor, I assisted clients in software selection, implementation and operation.

 This included the challenges of multiple manufacturing locations, and a multi-tiered distribution network. ​ One of the major challenges was to establish practical approaches to a combination of centralised and de-centralised planning. This included inter-plant dependencies and transport efficiencies.​

Once operational, my client companies delivered customer service levels unheard of across their industry and achieved massive reductions in inventory simultaneously.​
